Melvin Calhoun Obituary
Melvin was born on October 16, 1953 to the late Albert Calhoun and Annie Reynolds Calhoun in Ashburn, GA. Melvin's greatest years were spent at Calhoun's Grocery, his general store that he owned and operated in Ashburn for many years. It was there he met customers who became friends. In his younger years, Melvin enjoyed cars, racing and was a professional story teller- he could do many impressions and different sounds and he was truly talented- all of his impressions sounding as though whatever he was impersonating was real.
Survivors include is his sister- Linda (David) Schoffstall of Ashburn, and cousins- Eloise Carter and Matt Reynolds, both of Ashburn.

MELVIN CALHOUN IS A WONDERFUL AMAZING FRIEND TO ME WHO I ADOPTED AS A FATHER FIGURE.
