74, of St. Petersburg, transitioned on March 18, 2026. Born in Augusta, GA. He served 2 years in the United States Army. In 2020, he was inducted into the Gibbs High School Hall of Fame for Wrestling. He is survived by his son, Melvin Dandridge Jr; daughters, April and Andrea Dandridge; brothers, Herman Dandridge (Deborah), Alphonso Dandridge and Jackie Dandridge (Carolyn); four grandchildren; longtime companion, Rosey Sheeley; bonus daughter, Silkanna Williams; four bonus grandchildren. Visitation, Friday, 3:30-7 pm at New Beginning Church, 3500 13th Ave No. Funeral service Saturday March 28, 11 am at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
