Melvin I. Davis, Jr. was born on November 28, 1947 to Melvin I. Davis and Betty Lou Trosper in Omaha, Nebraska. He was educated in the Omaha Public School system, graduating from Omaha Technical High School. On September 15, 1969 he married the love his life Patricia A. Daniels. To this union were born 3 children, Latrese, Kennetta and Kenneth.: Melvin was a hard working, caring and loving husband and father. He last worked for the Omaha Public Schools as a custodian at Omaha North High School, where he retired. He loved watching TV you could set your watch by what he was watching. He lived with his son and daughter-in-law until his passing. He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Betty Lou Davis, wife Patricia, daughters Latrese and Kennetta, brother Elridge, sister Laura. He leave to cherish his memories son Kenneth (Deana), his sisters Sarah J. Davis, Maxine Jones, Charlene Berry, grandchildren Kiana Davis, Leshaun Davis, Isaac Davis, great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Avenue, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
