Melvin Wayne Fehrle, 83, passed away on January 1, 2026 in Marlin, Texas. Melvin was born on August 3, 1942 in Waller, Texas to Wilbert and Rosilean (Schwarz) Fehrle.
Melvin was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church in Rosehill, Texas. He grew up in Cypress, Texas on his family farm with his brothers and sister. He graduated from Tomball High School. In his younger days he enjoyed roping at Cy-Fair Rodeo. After working for M&J Valve for several years, Melvin opened his own company, Service Master in Bryan/College Station. Afterwards he retired to his ranch in Reagan, Texas. There he enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors and taking care of the Aggie Barn.
Melvin is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and his brothers; Charles and Gordon Fehrle. He is survived by his son; Walt Fehrle (Margaret), daughter; Michelle Fehrle, sister; Jeanette Driskill (Billy), grandchildren; Wesley (Ashley), Kelsey and Klara Fehrle, Hunter and Samantha Brown and Landen LaRoche, special friend; Joyce Hyvl and one great-grandchild due to arrive in April, along with nieces, great nieces and nephew, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Aggie Barn in Reagan, Texas at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be directed to any charity of your choice in Melvin's honor.
