It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Bubba Theeck, a good man who never met a stranger. Bubba passed away on August 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of memories that will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who loved him.

Bubba was born at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Beaumont, Texas, on August 2, 1942, to Marie Johanna Schreckenbach Theeck and James Dale "J.D." Theeck. Bubba was a 1960 graduate of Tomball High School. He was an active member of the FFA, where he began riding bulls at Cy-Fair Rodeo in Cypress, Texas. Rodeo became a passion in Bubba's life from a young age, from producing rodeos with his own stock to riding bulls in the PRCA. He continued his love of the sport by announcing local rodeos, serving as a member of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Announcers and Horse Show Committees for several years. He was a behind-the-chutes reporter for Dan Patrick's KSEV 700 AM station in Tomball, Texas, covering the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. He was a co-owner of Flying T Bucking Bulls where he raised and hauled bulls to the PBR from Madison Square Garden to Las Vegas.

Hobbies included coaching and umpiring girls' fast-pitch softball, refereeing high school basketball games, team roping, announcing rodeos, hunting, watching sports, and reading Western novels. Professional accomplishments include working for Southwestern Bell, serving in the United States Army as an SP5 Sergeant, working at Southwest Metal Fab, Tubular Fiberglass, and successfully starting his company, Torque Right LLC, which just celebrated its 20th year.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda Theeck; daughters April Theeck Williams and husband Kevin, Corissa Theeck Evans and husband Wade; grandchildren Chase and Mason Williams and Christopher and Madalynn Evans, brother Mickey Theeck, sister Colleen Brothersen and husband Greg; children James Nolan, Mark Nolan, Tamala Croasmun and Shelley Hansley; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends who cherished him.

He is preceded in death by his parents J.D. and Marie Theeck and brother Jimmy Theeck.

Bubba will be remembered for his kindness, patience, humor, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Visitation will be held Friday August 8, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball.

A celebration of Bubba's life will be held on August 9, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home Tomball, TX. We honor his memory and the impact he had on all our lives. Graveside service to follow at Bethel Cemetery in Montgomery, TX.

Bubba and I met around 1999 while on a FRP well pull. He amazed me with his knowledge of FRP and it's proper installation. His crews were very knowledgeable and would put in the hours to finish a job.
The most outstanding thing was his honesty when dealing with any problem.
By the way he could tell a good bare back or bull riding story! He was proud of his bull stock.
Another key to his success was his wife Brenda. She kept Bubba in line, lol.
I don't have a picture to share except in my mind and it has a big smile.
We love you Brenda and will be praying for you and your family.
