He was a graduate of JC Price High School and later enlisted in the US Navy where he served proudly, he was last employed by Apex, and a member of First Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; I.G. and Ada Massey, siblings; LJ Massey, John Massey, Robert Massey, Bernice Melton and Marjane Saulters.
He is survived by his special niece/ daughter; Shemeka McGee, niece; Ada McGee, nephews; Leon Melton, Spencer Melton, great-nephews; Javon Phifer, Laquon McGee and a special cousin; Clara Stewart, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Thursday October 23, at 3:00 p.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church Interment: Friday October 24, at 10:00 a.m Salisbury National Cemetery. Family Visitation: 30 minutes prior to service. Public Viewing: 11:00-5:00 p.m.
