Melvin "Mel" H. North, Jr., age 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 17, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and all of his children.
Mel was born on April 22, 1948, in Braymer, Missouri to Melvin H. North, Sr. and Helen (Simkins) North. He graduated from Braymer High School. From there, he diligently worked many jobs in the manufacturing industry and in sales.

He is survived by his wife, Carol North, whom Mel affectionately called Babe; sister, Dianne Martin; children, Teri (Chris) Battershell, Darin (Jill) Klingensmith, Brad (Julie) North, Cari (Corey) Gray, Sari (Scott) Williams, Kim Ballard, Brett (Saundra) North, Brandon (Gina) North, and Kristin (Barney) Barnett; daughter-in-law, Tami North; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and friends and family who will miss him greatly.
