Graveside services for Melvin Preuett will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Providence Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana.
Melvin was born June 3, 1943, in Ringgold, Louisiana and went to be with his Lord on June 25, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Sue Rowell Preuett and his parents Jimmie and Lillie Mae Preuett.
He is survived by his daughters, Brandi Wood and husband Steven of Haughton and Janet Scholl and husband Bill of Nekoosa, WI, grandchildren, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Becca, Matti, and Karoline all of Haughton and Zach Scholl and wife Shauna, Lindsay Holden and husband Cody of WI and five great-grandchildren, and brother, Wayne Preuett and wife Gale and their daughter Melanie of Boise, ID.
