Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at age 73. Loving husband and best friend of Donna (nee Fudaly) Rutlin. Proud and devoted father of Jennifer (Joseph) Mallinger and Laura (Scott) Rauch. Cherished grandpa of Jalina, Kyla, Taylee, Deagan, Tyler and Charles. Dear step-grandpa of Parker. Mel will be missed by other relatives and many friends.
A private family service will be held per Mel's wishes.

Just saw this - I worked with Mel years ago. What a sweet, wonderful man. I think of him often. Memories will see you through this. I'm so sorry.
