Melvin Shealy

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for the time we were blessed with him, we announce the passing of Melvin Paul Shealy a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, who left this world on November 20, 2025, surrounded by his family and held in the love of those who meant the most to him.
He was a man whose hands were never still and whose imagination never rested. If he could dream it, he could build it. Whether he was sketching out a new idea or crafting something from nothing, he poured his creativity, patience, and skill into every project. Drawing and building weren't just hobbies to him-they were how he expressed his heart.
A devoted hunter, he found peace and purpose in the woods. Hunting wasn't just a pastime; it was a way of life that connected him to the land, to tradition, and to countless memories shared with those he loved. The outdoors was his sanctuary, and the stories from his time in the wild will live on in those who shared those moments with him.
Above all else, he was a loving husband of 21 years, a kind of father who led by example-teaching his children the value of hard work, the beauty of simple things, and the importance of standing by the people you love. His lessons will continue to guide us, and his strength will carry us through the days ahead.
He leaves behind his wife Jennifer Shealy who he married on September 30, 2024, his children, Paul Shealy (Jodi) Matthew Shealy, Martin Shealy (Jennifer) Nicole Collins ( James) who were his pride and joy, along with 3 stepchildren, several grandchildren & great grandchildren, family and friends who will forever miss his humor, his talent, and his steady presence.
Though our hearts ache, we are grateful he was able to spend his final days at home, surrounded by the people who loved him most. We take comfort knowing he is at peace, and that his spirit lives on in every project he built, every line he drew, and every story we will keep telling.
