In Loving Memory of Judith Walker Shealy
August 25, 1944 – November 1, 2025
Judith Walker Shealy peacefully walked through the gates to heaven on November 1, 2025. Born on August 25, 1944, she was the second daughter of Margaret Pryor Walker and Bob Walker.
She was an Alpha Iota at Croft Business College, graduating with honors in 1965. Judi approached life with purpose and precision. Her organization and attention to detail shone through in not only her career, but also in her beautifully decorated home and perfectly planned events. Her hospitality was unmatched-every gathering she hosted was filled with her signature understated elegance.
Judi is survived by her loving daughter, Kristin Shealy, and devoted sons, William Shealy (Mari), Wayne Shealy (Sheri), and Keith Shealy (Brenda) and her sister Sandra Miller (Lloyd). She was a proud grandmother to Christopher Shealy (Megan), Matt Shealy (Typhani), Justin Shealy, Logan Shealy and Ethan Franklin; a cherished great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. Those who knew Judi will remember her for her impeccable taste, her thoughtful nature, and her determined spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, generosity, and class – both in the spaces she created and the hearts she touched.
A visitation service in Judi's honor will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Amory Funeral Home in Yorktown, Va and a graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News, Va at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Dirt Road Doggies Rescue (dirtroaddoggiesrescue.org), Patient Advocate Foundation (patientadvocate.org), Lab Rescue LRCP (lab-rescue.org)
