Melvin Dale Sitzberger

Melvin Dale Sitzberger, 85
Melvin Dale Sitzberger passed away Wednesday afternoon on September 25th 2024.
He was born in Mayville, Wisconsin to Edward and Evelyn Sitzberger, but he spent his school years in Marshfield Wisconsin.
After Graduation, in 1957, Mel enlisted in the U.S Air Force. He served at several bases, but his favorites were in New Mexico and especially Sculthorpe Air Force Base in England. He became a life-long Anglophile.
When he left the Air Force, he became involved in the retail business working for several companies, the last being Value City Department stores, where he attained the position of Vice President.
Retirement gave Mel the opportunity to pursue many interests; among them car shows. He went to many in the area along with his group of car show friends.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife Diana; Daughters, Karen and Monica; Grandchildren. James, Chelsea, Thomas, Sarah, Jeremy and Tyler; Great-Grandchildren, Hayden, Harper, Elli, Bentley, Issac, Parker, Cael, Capri, Marc, Austin, Parker, Colton, Lilly and Abby; Cousins in Wisconsin and Florida; Sister-in-law Paula; many, many friends and his cats- Cotton and Mister.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, caring Nurses and staff at Samaritan Hospital and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care.
