Melvin Speight Obituary
Melvin Speight, age 72, of Richmond, departed this life on November 30, 2024. He is preceded in death by one son, Shakei Green. He is survived by three sisters, Mamie Allison (David), Iola Speight and Shirley St. Louis (Pierre); one brother, Anthony Glass; several nieces and nephews, among them, Davonya Pauley, Sherita Holland, Shakhia Shannon, Tanya Wheeler, Sanai Holland, Shareena St. Louis, Tony Cummings and Tony Speight; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where Mr. Speight can be viewed on Sunday, December 8th from 11:00am - 6:00pm, and where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 9th. Dr. Theodore Brown, officiating. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Monday. Interment private.
