Melvin Stamper Obituary
Melvin Earl Stamper, 68, of New London, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home.
Melvin was born March 30, 1954 in North Carolina to the late Glenn Stamper and the late Odessia Mae Smith Stamper.
He was also preceded in death by sister, Claudia Calloway and brother, Tony Stamper.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Eddie Barbee. Burial will immediately follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
Survivors include siblings, Jerry Stamper of Kannapolis, NC, Darlene Pressley of Kannapolis, NC, Carol Maness of Ashboro, NC, and Glenda Smith of Albemarle, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Stamper family.
