Melynna Rae York, age 36, passed on June 7, 2023, in Williamsburg, OH. Born December 2, 1986 in Cincinnati, OH. Cherished daughter of Alicia and Anthony Murphy, and William Pollitt. Loving wife of 11 years to Gary Elwood York. Beloved Mother of Braedynn York, Natalynn Pollitt, and Dylan York. Also survived by numerous Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
There wasn't a person that met Lynna Bug that didn't immediately smile. She had a golden heart and would do anything for anyone at anytime. She cherished her family, children, and friends, and never met a stranger because they soon would be her friend. Since a young age she has been battling Cystic Fibrosis, and every time a doctor set a limit to what she could do, she broke through that wall with great determination. She showed glamor in everything she did, just like Betty Boop, and loved lady bugs, peacocks, and sloths; all animals that matched her quirky personality. If she wasn't dancing, she was bringing the best out of people, and teaching what it means to live with elegance and grace.
