Mercer was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Corwin Blacksmith and Shana Helper; and his uncle, Leland Russell.
Pallbearers will be Joseph O'Rourke, Leon Adams, Corey Brown, & Halin Bad Bear.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives of the family.
Visitation Services: Visitation service starting at 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Friday, February 7, 2025 at the St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Batesland, SD with an all night wake service starting at 4:00 PM at the C. Bear Memorial Gymnasium in Batesland, SD with evening services at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the C. Bear Memorial Gymnasium in Batesland, SD
Traditional Lakota Services: Chris Brooks
Officiating: Mother Michelle Dayton
Burial Services: Two Lance Family Cemetery-Rainbow Valley near Gordon Jct.
