In Loving Memory:
Meredith Albert (Tim) Willard Jr. of East Palatka Fl., went home to the Lord on September 26th, 2021.
Tim was born on August 26th, 1953 to loving parents, the late Meredith Albert (Tip), and Eva Anna Willard.
Tim was a retired veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
Upon leaving the Coast Guard, Tims accomplishments include the repair of diesel engines, commercial kitchen and laundry equipment and was very knowledgeable in the construction trades.
Tim was very fond of fishing and had a deep affection for the sea.
Tim was for a time Lieutenant for the Solomons Island Md. and the St Augustine Shores Fire Departments, and was also an Emergency Medical Technician.
Tim is survived by his wife Shelley Lynn Willard of East Palatka, Fl., four brothers, Glenn W. and Darline of St. Augustine, Fl. John J. Sr. and Sheryl of Westville, NJ., Russell J. of Plant City, Fl., and Richard S. of Williamstown, NJ.
Tims children include Lisa Ezkert of Fort Stewart, Ga., Jessica Cook of Debary Fl., Meredith A. Willard, III, of West Deptford, NJ, Leonard Willard residing in Petoria, South Africa, Jeremy Willard of Edgewater Fl., and Amanda Willard of Riverside Ca.
Tim has one stepdaughter Samantha Smith of St. Augustine Fl.,ten grandchildren and paternal aunt, Ruth Geiger of Philadelphia, PA.
Tim will be cremated by the Johnson/Overturf funeral home in Palatka Fl.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
