Merleen Garber Obituary
On Friday, December 29, 2023, Merleen Jane Garber of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Robert S. Garber; loving mother of Susan E. Mitchell and Robert E. Garber and his wife, Denise; “mom mom” to Jennifer L. and Lori M. Mitchell, Kristin M. Harrod and Robert E. Garber; great-mom mom to Hannah M. and Samuel P. Harrod. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Mrs. Garber was preceded in death by her parents, Eileen and Merle Cofel; her brother, William Cofel; and son-in-law, Randy D. Mitchell.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Thursday, January 11th, from 11:00 am until the start of the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. A Graveside Service and Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
If desired, Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to the Friendship Church of the Brethren, 217 Mansion Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090.
Following the burial, the Garber family is inviting everyone to join them at Friendship Church of the Brethren, 217 Mansion Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 for food and fellowship.
