A correction, in a previous post, I mentioned Mere never ordered ice in her wine at happy hour, mostly true, she always asked for it on the side. Smart lady.

Away at college, no money, few friends, and low test scores with the weekend coming up. Low and behold a birthday card in my mailbox with $10.00 - I felt like a King. it was from lovely Merlene!

Tom and I are so sorry for the your loss. We will miss Merlene very much! We so enjoyed picking her up and taking her to breakfast and shopping, however our fondest memories were the many experiences and laughter she shared with my mom Rita Tricarico when she visited Tom and I here in South Carolina. Merelen will always hold a special place in our hearts.

David and Beth,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. Our parents were such close friends. When I remember all of the gatherings that our families shared, I feel very blessed! I hope that you can find comfort in the memories of your Mom.
Love, Wendy Dailey

Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my god-mother Merlene.
She was very kind to me especially when it was my birthday, or a stay at the hospital-always coming up with a neat gift , a card with five bucks, and some much appreciated love. .It boosted my self confidence and made me feel special. Thanks Mere, may God bless you and reserve s special place for you in His care.
