M.H. was preceded in death by his sisters, Marion Boothe Raper and Annie Ruth Lane, and his former wife, Barbara Thacker.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Laney Denman of Maryville, TN and her husband, Scott; grandsons, Zachary Denman and Justin Denman; two great-grandchildren, and his niece and nephews: Cynthia Winfree, Lonnie Raper, Jeffrey Raper, Rodney Lane and Kelly Lane.
