Mia Rae Wimberly, 51, passed away on Saturday, February 24. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson.
Mia is survived by her loving husband, Leonardo Saucedo Mata; daughter, Christin Alvarez and husband, Antonio of Powhatan, VA; grandchildren, Anabella Alvarez and Antonio Alvarez, Jr. of Powhatan, VA; parents, Billy Ray Wimberly and Linda Williams Wimberly of Lucama; sister, Tonya Williams and husband, Antonio, Sr. of Lucama; brother, William Wimberly of Lucama; nephews, Dustin Goff and Antonio Williams, Jr. of Lucama; niece, Robyn Goff of Lucama; and aunts, Brenda Pearce and Doris Ann Skinner of Wilson.
