Mike was my brother-in-law. The Mike I knew enjoyed being with family, telling jokes (he really enjoyed the telling of the joke, more than any response it generated), and he liked a good meal. I rarely saw him upset - he was a positive person. One of my favorite memories of him was when my son was a toddler. Mike laid out on the carpet in our home and my son would freefall belly flop on top of him. Mike just giggled. I first thought it might hurt Mike but he pooh-poohed that concern. He welcomed it.

I will miss him. He was a good guy with a kind heart. And a flare for fashion.
