I married into the family. I am very thankful for Mike & Heather "adopting" my son Ryan through his and Emily's high school years. Mike and Heather provided stability to Ryan through my divorce. Ryan played an old video of himself and Matthew playing "knights"....Mike and Heather had wrapped them both up with cardboard and duct tape. I could hear Mike's laugh and Heather. I was so happy to hear his laugh one more time....and then Mike saying, "Game ovah". I am thankful for Mike and Heather taking Ryan's high school graduation picture out in the woods in Rangley. Everytime I look at Ryan's picture, I think of Mike, Heather, Emily and Matthew. Mike was such a beautiful, giving soul. Give 'em some laughs in Heaven, Mike! I hope you found the peace you were searching for.
