Michael ''Ray'' Allen, 71, of Greenville, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, November 13, 2025. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville with Mr. Keith Thomason and Mr. Tom Davis officiating.

Ray was born on June 16, 1954, in Fairbanks, Alaska to John Porter and JoAnn Taylor Allen. He married Debra Lake on November 10, 1978, in Wolfe City, Texas.

Over the years, Ray developed many trades from roofing to vinyl siding to wood burning stoves and more. His most recent were a business in computer networking and a community service through A2B driving business.

Along with his love of puns, Dad jokes, Star Trek and UT football, he loved to serve others. Whether traveling to Guyana, South America for mission work or lending a helping hand to those in need locally, Ray lived out his faith daily. He was a devoted member of Kingston Church of Christ and found joy in serving the Lord through service to others.

Ray is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debra Lake Allen; daughters, Krysta Allen, Megan Allen Keller and husband, David; his son, Jared Allen and wife, Julie; mother JoAnn Taylor Allen; sister, Becky Allen Schulz and husband, Norbert; his cherished grandchildren, Oliver, Vincent, Marley, Brandon, Tobin and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father.
