On Thursday, September 4, Michael Christian Ames, a loving father, son, brother, nephew, boyfriend, and friend to others passed away at home in the early morning hours.
Michael is now resting peacefully with The Lord and is reunited with family members that have gone before him.
Michael was born on November 30, 1993 at Mesquite Community Hospital, in Mesquite, Texas to Michael and Emily Ames. Michael graduated from Rowlett High School, in 2012. He attended college at Richland Community College in Dallas. His proudest moment came on July 16, 2021 with the birth of his son, Levi Cian Ames.
Michael was a talented artist, great student, and had a zest for life. He loved many types of music, animals, and video games. He had a great collection of comic books and he had more knowledge of movies than anyone else. Michael met the love of his life, Abby Nguyen on April 24, 2024. He was looking forward to combining their two families as one, including Levi, Charlotte, and Bridgett.
He worked as a Calibration Service Technician at Nicol Scales and Measurements in Dallas, TX. Michael was very proud of his job, and enjoyed it and the people he worked with. Michael had many friends and family that loved him. He was a sweet soul with a great sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Michael Wayne Ames Sr. and maternal grandfather Johnny Ray Green along with uncle Richard Dean Evans.
He is survived by his son, Levi Cian Ames, mother, Emily Ames, father, Michael Wayne Ames, sister Kaitlyn Payne Ames his Uncles Phillip Ames, John Christian Ames, & Jeromy Harrison along with aunts Lora Evans, Jennifer Ames, and April Ames-Harrison. He is also survived by cousins Ricky Evans, Emma-Leigh Ames. and Olivia Ames, grandmothers Catherine Joyce Green, Barbara Reidel, and step grandfather Bruce Reidel.
