Brock Matthew Ellison

Brock Matthew Ellison, devoted Son, Brother, and Uncle was called home to His Savior Jesus Christ on February 25, 2025 at the age of 37 years at his home in Rowlett, TX. 

Brock was born October 18, 1987, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas to Terry Lynn Ellison and Dianne Shewmake, and was the younger brother of TJ Ellison. 

Brock grew up with his family in Rowlett, Texas, graduated from Rowlett High School in 2006, and later graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston. Brock worked as an SEO specialist, and also pursued his passion by working the scorer’s table at the Dallas Stars youth hockey association.

Brock had a love of meeting new people, and after college spent time living in Denver, Colorado and San Francisco, California before returning home to be near family. He was an active member of The Table Church in Sachse, TX working in the Childcare area.

Brock is preceded in death by his mother Dianne, Paternal Grandfather Harold Ellison, and Maternal Grandparents Jack and Dorothy Shewmake.

Brock is survived by his Paternal Grandmother Jerry Ellison, Father Terry Ellison, Step-Mother Sandi Ellison, Step-Father David Youden, Brother TJ Ellison, Sister-in-Law Kelly Ellison, Nieces Leah and Joanna Ellison, and Nephew Daniel Ellison, along with cousins, friends, and loved ones.
