Michael C. Anastasio
Michael C. Anastasio, 90, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Bridgeport Hospital, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Carol Landisio Anastasio. Michael was born in New Haven on July 16, 1935, and was the son of the late John and Phillamena Albano Anastasio. He served his country with great honor and pride in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Michael worked at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Connecticut for 37 years as a data processing manager. Beloved father of Lisa (Frank) Raccio and Michael (Stacey) Anastasio. Loving grandfather of Ashley and Jenna Raccio. Also survived by his two sisters-in-law, as well as many friends and extended family members. Predeceased by his sister, Theresa Montesano; and brother, John Anastasio.
The visiting hours will be Sunday, March 1st, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven, on Monday morning, March 2nd, at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Connecticut Children's Hospital Inc., PO Box 412901, Boston, MA 02241. www.northhavenfuneral.com
