Michael Ayrassian Obituary

Michael Ayrassian Jr. MD, Age 73 of Kane, Pennsylvania, was born on September 23, 1951. He passed away September 15th 2025. At UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie Pennsylvania. Michael is survived by his wife of 37 years Deborah Ayrassian and his son Michael Ayrassian III and his grandson Matthew Michael Ayrassian. Michael was born and grew up in Providence Rhode Island. There he attended Providence College where he received a scholarship and pitched varsity. From there he attended medical school in Mexico City where he earned his medical degree. After medical school he spent some time practicing in Atlanta Georgia before moving to Pennsylvania where he completed his residency in Reading, Pennsylvania. He then worked in Kane Pennsylvania as a family medicine practitioner for a few years. After that he was offered a job and retired in 2019 from his medical career at Warren State Hospital. Michael was an avid football fan, and enjoyed spending time with family. Michael was also survived by his 3 siblings, Kenneth his brother, and two sisters Sandra and Cindy.A church service will be held in his honor and his remains will be buried at the Historic Northern Burial Ground in Providence, Rhode Island.alongside his mother and father, and other deceased family members.
