Michael "Mickey" Bailey

Michael "Mickey" Bailey born November 28, 1958 departed this life on Monday – March
16, 2026 at the Hamilton Hospice Center being 67-years old. Mickey was born in
Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Corbett Bailey Jr. and the late Mattie Campbell
Reiff(Vernon). Other than his parents, Mickey was also preceded in death by his
brothers, Rutherford "Rudy" Bailey, Wesley Whitt; brother-in-law, Matthew Thomas; stepdaughter, Teresa Couch.

Mickey graduated from Krypton Grade School, and Buckhorn High School while living
with his grandmother Malvie Campbell at Napfor. Mickey was an avid fisherman, and
King of the mountain hunter.

Mickey leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: loving wife of 21 years,
Hilda Sue Day Bailey of Hamilton, Ohio; second mother, Linda Whitt of Hazard,
Kentucky; son, Shawn Bailey of Middletown, Ohio; stepchildren,
John Couch (Francis) of Krypton, Kentucky; step grandchild, John Luke; brothers, Danny
Bailey (Jeana) of Georgetown, Ohio; Chester Marlow (Jennifer) of Hazard, Kentucky.
sisters, Deborah Bailey Thomas of Georgetown, Ohio, Kimberly Bailey, Jeanne Putman,
and Brenda Moody; special friends, Anthony Day, and Tom Selvage; also, a host of nieces
and nephews and other family members survive.

Funeral Services for Michael "Mickey" Bailey will be conducted on Friday – March 20,
2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Teddy Bailey and Kenny
Miller officiating. The visitation will be held on Friday – March 20, 2026, at the Engle-
Bowling Funeral Home from 10:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. The interment will follow at the
Woodson Gut Cemetery located in Napfor, Kentucky.
