Michael Basta Obituary
Michael Basta Jr., 75, of Cranberry Township passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless.
Born Jan. 10, 1947, in Industry, he was the son of the late Michael Basta Sr. and Anna Marie Gabore Basta.
Michael will be remembered as a hard-working man and a devoted and loving family man.
Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Kevin (Gale) Kohl, Patricia Kohl (the late Will) Gaiser, Ronald Kohl, Kathleen Kohl (Randy) Smith, Dorothy Kohl (Dave) Murphy, and Candace Kohl (Timothy) Sheffer; his 17 grandchildren, his 24 great-grandchildren; his two great-great-grandchildren; his siblings, Daniel Basta, Barbara Ann Basta Liberato, Marilyn Basta (Bruce) Arnold, and Kathryn Basta (Donald) Maceross; and many loving nieces, nephews, in-law, his cat, Sammy, and friends who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann McClean Basta who passed away on July 10, 2021.
BASTA - In accordance with Michael's wishes, there are no services scheduled for Michael Basta Jr., who died Friday, April 8, 2022.
He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pinewood Memorial Gardens, 20950 US 19, Cranberry Township.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
