Michael J. Bell lost his battle with cancer at age 75 on Sept 21 2025. The center of his world is his wife of 58 years, Helen Bell. Michael and Helen met in high school, fell totally in love, and married at 18 years old. They were one unit for the next 58 years. He lead with his heart and curious mind, so Michael made friends everywhere he went. Their life's work was deep network of people to enjoy life with, including his time in the service, taking care of Waterbury's schools' and helping people choose the right cars for them! Many adventures were had while boating, hunting, snowmobiling, and motorcycle trips. He will be missed by so many.

Michael is survived by his wife, Helen, sister Patty Copeland and husband Hollie of Paducah, Ky, sister Debbie Evan's of Metropolis, Il., several special nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother Nora and stepfather Raymond Tatro, and sister, Dena Hobbs. Heartfelt thanks to Dr Ospina and the cancer center of CVH and Bayada home health and hospice.

Per Michael's wishes there will be a private service. In lieu of flowers please donate to National Life Cancer Ctr at Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin, VT.
