Michael Blight Obituary
Michael P. Blight, 70, of Santa Cruz passed away on June 13, 2022.
Mike will be greatly missed by his wife Karen, daughter Michelle, sister Wilma (Gary) Bever, brothers John (Karen) Blight and Tim Blight.
Mike was a 1970 graduate of Watsonville High School. He worked as a carpenter before becoming a landscaper. He retired from Dominican Hospital as the groundskeeper after forty years.
Mike enjoyed music, telling jokes, puzzles, and sports; as a player, coach, referee, and spectator. He loved his Giants.
Family and friends always came first. He always has a smile and kind words for everyone.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Association Golden West Chapter.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the Corralitos Women's Club, 33 Browns Valley Rd., Watsonville, CA.

I am sorry for your lost. My cousin, Gordon Kobara, Mike & I grew up together through high school. Lost touch but saw him years latter around Dominican Hospital. Always with a smile & enthusiastic, just learned about his passing today. Bob Mine
