I met Joe in 1990 and we became good friends over the years. Joe was always so kind and thoughtful to me. I will miss you brother.

I´m so sorry to hear about Joe´s passing. There were times when we were young that Joe was a "larger than life" person in my life. He was a great athlete, but was equally a nice and supportive friend. As adults, when I ran into Joe, it was like no time had passed at all. He was always very friendly and engaging. When I think of him, I´ll smile and will remember him fondly.

I did not meet Joe until I was in my 20´s but he brightened my life and he always made me laugh with his sarcastic humor. I will remember him as a big brother figure. My prayers go to the family and remember Joe for all the good times. A life well lived my friend.
Sincerely,
George Gothmann
