Michael Inchausti Obituary
A lifelong Sacramentan, Mike attended Newton Booth Elementary, Sutter Middle School, and graduated from Sacramento High School in 1961. He continued his education at Sacramento City College and later earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Sacramento State University in Physical Education and Driver Education, along with his teaching credentials.
Mike dedicated 37 years to the Sacramento City Unified School District as a teacher and coach before retiring in 2004. He taught Physical Education, Driver Education, and Driver Training while coaching baseball and football at Burbank and Sacramento High Schools. He also contributed to the Pig Bowl and Optimist All-Star Games. In recognition of his commitment to youth athletics, he was inducted into the Sacramento Area Coaches Hall of Fame by the La Salle Club of Sacramento in 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Betsy; daughter, Krista Inchausti; son, Michael Inchausti III; stepdaughter, Holly Hein and her husband Paul Hein; grandchildren Harrison Hein, Haley Hein, Hayden Hein, and Hudson Hein. He is also survived by his brother Larry Inchausti and sister-in-law Linda Inchausti; niece Monica and nephew Nick Inchausti; sister-in-law Suzanne Aguilera; brother-in-law Dennis Aguilera; and nephew Craig Aguilera.
Mike will be remembered for his dedication to family, education, and athletics, and the lasting impact he made on those he taught and coached. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

I am so sorry to hear that Mike passed away. I taught with him at Luther Burbank from 71 to79. I, too, was a coach and taught PE and Driver´s Ed. We shared many personal conversations and a love for Olivia Newton John. RIP, Mike and condolences to to the family. Sandi

Mike was a wonderful neighbor to my wife Diane Sipkin and to me for 23 years. We often enjoyed dining out with him and Betsy and enjoyed many meals (and wine) in their home. Recently, we´ve thought of him often, once we heard of his challenges these last couple of years. Our thoughts our with Betsy and their children and grandchildren. We will always remember his kind, helpful nature and his love of wine and good food.
