Mike, you were one of the first staff members at CFH to welcome me when I arrived in the Star Lake area nine years ago, and I knew right away that we would be friends. You were always great to talk to, joke with, play golf with, or just share a beer with. The last time I saw you, you gave me an enormous hug that I will never forget. RIP, my dear friend.
To Mike´s children, I am truly heartbroken over the loss of your dad. I admired him for so many reasons, including his feisty demeanor, his work ethic, and his meticulous attention to detail. But more than anything, I admired him as a father. He told me so many great stories about each of you and your adventures; when he spoke of you, he did so with such love, pride, and total devotion. He loved being your dad. I am so sorry for your loss.
