Sherol A. Bice

CRANBERRY LAKE/LISBON: Sherol A. Bice, age 76, of Cranberry Lake and formerly of Lisbon, passed away on January 21, 2026 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

There will be a graveside service held in the Cranberry Lake Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are with French Family Funeral Home in Star Lake. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.

Sherol was born on September 9, 1949 in Wyandotte, MI to the late Paul Richard and Virginia Mae (Dawson) Seguin. She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1967. Sherol worked for St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services as a supervisor for many years before retiring in 1999. After her retirement, Sherol was a volunteer driver for St. Lawrence County.

Sherol loved spending time with her family and was very proud of her three children. She loved to dance, sing karaoke, work in her garden and flower beds, and crafting, including sewing, crocheting, and beading. Her way of cooking was taking you out to eat. She was a member of C.S.E.A. and the Amvets in DeKalb.

She is survived by her long-time partner, James "Jim" Pomerville, three children, Aaron (Caitlin) Warriner, Justin (Jennifer) Warriner and Sarah (John) Bice-Carlin, five siblings, Richard (Jane) Seguin, Gerry (Jackie) Seguin, Michael Seguin, Patrick "Joe" Seguin, and Barbara Seguin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Anthony Gebolys, Michael and Christina Bice, and Tyler, Jeremy, Hannah, Zara, and Christian Warriner, 3 great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her parents and her aunts and uncles.
