Michael Bost, Sr. Obituary
Born on July 17, 1947, in North Carolina, Michael was the cherished son of the late Marvin Lee Bost and Billie Leona Bost. He was a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Jo Harvell, and brother, Gary Franklin Bost. He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Betsy Joann Bost; his sister, Hilda Deal; his children, Michael Bost Jr. (Jennifer), Kimberly Horne (Jeff), and Melissa Miller (Chad); as well as his adored grandchildren, Crystal Bost, Jordan Bost, Josh Bost, Chad Miller, Dawson Miller, Ashlyn Bost, Lexie Simpson, Gracie Simpson, and Garrett Horne, along with several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Mike Thevenin. Interment will take place at West Concord Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, a cause close to Michael’s heart due to his courageous battle with kidney disease.
