Michael Edward Boudrie

Michael Edward Boudrie, age 71, passed on November 10, 2025, from end-stage Multiple Sclerosis. Michael was born on August 9, 1954, in Saline, Michigan to Betty Jean and Harold Boudrie. He grew up mainly in Erie, Michigan and graduated from Erie Mason High School as a student athlete. He earned a Bachelor of Philosophy from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids and a Master of Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
He enjoyed a long and meaningful career in mental health services, working at the Youth Center in Monroe, Michigan, the Ruth Ide Center and ASAC in Toledo, and Monroe Community Mental Health in Monroe, before retiring from his own private practice in counseling and coaching called CoVentures, LLC.
Michael loved his old farmhouse, his garden and orchard, his pets, and perhaps - above all - his music. He composed on guitar and sang for family, friends and the public. He was deeply spiritual and reflective, a loyal and generous friend. As a devoted family man, Michael leaves behind his wife, Christine ('Dr. Chris'), and sons, Samuel (fiancée, Kaitlin Ambuehl) and Noah (wife, Venessa). He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Gary.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Erie VFW on Sunday, December 7 from 1 to 4 pm.
