Michael Brady

Michael Lynn Brady, known affectionately by his family and friends as 'Mike' or 'Sarge', was born on February 17, 1949 in Ogden, UT. He was an exemplar of charisma, dedication, loyalty, and wit, the likes of which the world seldom sees. His passage on August 26, 2025, has brought profound sadness to those whose lives he touched, but his memories will continue to inspire and uplift us all.

Michael, a loving devoted husband to Linda Brady since October 2, 1970, was a steadfast family man whose love for God and his family was unfaltering. He was a proud father to his son Michael Jr., and a doting father-in-law to Christine. His joy knew no bounds when he became a grandfather to Tyler, Layla, and Rosie. His family was his pride. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Alice Brady, and his beloved in-laws, Verdgil and Gertrude Crow.

Known for his wit and charm, Michael's career saw him serve with tenacity in the Department of Defense as a Transportation Superintendent also serving as First Sargent the last four years of Air Force career. His service took him to numerous locations, from Edwards Air Force Base, CA to Thule Air Force Base, Greenland, and finally to Mather Air Force Base, CA, where he retired honorably in 1992. Following his retirement, he found joy in immersing himself in his hobbies, which included gardening, photography, camping, traveling and coin collecting. His love for the great outdoors was unparalleled and echoed his appreciation for God's creations. His favorite places to visit were Yellowstone National Park and Hawaiian Islands. Upon his retirement, he moved to Clinton, UT, where he spent 33 blissful years.

The viewing will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:30 at Myers Mortuary - Roy, located at 5865 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah, 84067. The funeral service will follow at the same venue at 1:00 pm. We invite all who knew Michael to join us in bidding farewell to this extraordinary man.
