Michael Brown

Michael (Mikey) Brown, 52, of Milford, Delaware, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026, after battling kidney disease for over three decades.

Born on January 15, 1974, in Milford, Delaware, Michael Brown was the beloved son of Geneva Brown-Noll and Willie Alexander. He graduated from Milford Senior High School in 1992 and was employed at Hardees and Royal Farms for many years.

Michael's life was marked by extraordinary resilience and an unwavering spirit. Despite facing countless health challenges, he never stopped showing up for the people he loved. He continued working part-time through his struggles, demonstrating a quiet strength that inspired all who knew him.

Those who were blessed to know Michael remember a man who gave generously of himself, even when his own body was failing. His love was shown through action, through presence, and through the simple act of being there when others needed him. He had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, and his impact on the lives he touched cannot be measured.

Michael had a passion for collecting sneakers and watches, and he expressed himself through his own unique sense of style. He fearlessly mixed and matched clothing and colors in ways that were distinctly his own, never concerned with what others might think. In his mind, he knew he was "fly," and that unshakable confidence and self-assurance was part of what made him so unforgettable.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Geneva Brown-Noll and Willie Alexander; his daughter, Cassy Miller; and her brother, Colby Miller, to whom he was like a father. He is also survived by his siblings: Merlyn Brown, his twin, and wife Leah Brown; Lester and Leslie Brown; Terri Burton; James Lovett; Chad Alexander; Kenya Alexander; and Shanta Lake; his nieces, Nydia Brown and Marshay Brown; his nephews, Kamren Foster and Mekhi Brown; his great-nephew, Kamren Foster Jr.; and special cousins, Sheryl Morris and Denise Morris-General.

Michael's fight may be over, but his legacy of love, resilience, and selflessness lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
