Michael John Bruning age 74 of Mesa, Arizona passed at home in his sleep on April 17, 2024.
He was born in Alpena to Arlo and Iris (Derry) Bruning on September 8, 1949.
Mike graduated from Rogers City High School in 1968. He served in the United States Navy. Following his Naval service he went to work for the Veterans Administration providing transportation services and other services for Veterans.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Jenifer (Bill) Bruning-Edington and Christine (Adam) Bruning-Douehart; grandchildren, Karen, Trey and Carson; four brothers, Tom, Charles, Arlo and George; and two sisters, Julie Bruning-Bahan and Lynn Bruning-Crawford.
Graveside service will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday, August 15th at 2 p.m. with Rogers City VFW Post 607 providing Military Honors.
