Michael P. "Mike" Buckley, born on July 29, 1955, in Oneida, NY, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Brewerton, NY, on January 26, 2026. His life was characterized by a deep commitment to his family and community.
Mike had a rewarding career, retiring from Cavallaro Foods after many years of dedicated service. Following his retirement, he continued to apply his skills and work ethic at CNY Auto Auction in LaFayette, where he was appreciated by colleagues.
As a member of the American Legion in Cicero, Mike enjoyed volunteering on a regular basis and spending time with friends. He was known affectionately by his neighbors as the Mayor of Omara Drive.
Above all, Mike treasured spending time with his grandchildren. They brought him great joy and pride, and he cherished every moment spent in their company. He "Billieved" in the Bills and was a dedicated fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Buckley; his three children, Brenda Buckley, Bryan Buckley (Lindsay Young), and Sunshine Reynolds; two grandchildren, Brooks Buckley and Desreon Rudolph; a great-grandchild, Xymarea Rudolph; his brother Robert (Shirley) Buckley, niece: Kelly (Enzo) Montesano, and his nephew Sean (Alma) Morelle.
Michael was predeceased by his parents Fran & Micheline Buckley and sister, Susan Buckley.
A visitation to honor Mike will be held on Tuesday February 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, N. Syracuse, NY.
