Michael "Buddy" Bailey Obituary
Michael Judson Bailey (Buddy) died peacefully at his home in Cedar Creek, Texas January 14, 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Wesley Taylor Bailey, Thelma Rae Bailey and sister Barbara June Bailey.
Survived by the love of his life, his wife, Hilary Joy Watts Bailey. Older sister Carolyn Bailey Case, Children Nathan, Boyd(Marcella) & Jennifer(Daryl)Bailey Belz Step Children Stephen(Mel)& Hayley Watts, Proud Papa to 8 amazing grandchildren. Jared, Breanna, McKenna, Kennedy, Travis, Weston, Natalie & Hattie Great Papa to Trent Tyler Brother in law to Jill Watts DeCino Special Uncle to Debi and Thomas Porter, Bob(Melinda) Case, Rachel (David) Lancon Best Friend/Compadre/ Brother to Mike (Bea) Mallicote.
Buddy and Mike are proud Commander's Emeritus of the Bastrop County Veterans Honor Guard providing Military Honors to our veterans in Bastrop County. Buddy was the last surviving founding member!
Funeral Services will be Friday, January 24, 2025.
Family and friends will gather from 12:30 to 1:00pm and our service will begin at 1:00pm at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home, located at 505 Old Austin Highway in Bastrop, Texas. Following our service we will process to Oak Hill Cemetery for our Graveside Military Honors.
