Michael Burkett Obituary
Michael Ray Burkett, 63 of Streator passed away Monday (August 11, 2025) at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.
A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday (Aug. 19th) from 4 – 6 P.M. with services following at 6P.M. with Adam Johnson officiating at the Winterrowd Funeral Home.
Mike was born on April 29, 1962, in Streator to William “Bud” and Christine (Guy) Burkett.
Surviving are, Shelly (Troy) McClellan of Streator, William (Autumn) Burkett of Streator and Emma Burkett of Columbus, IN, grandchildren, Christine, Charlotte and Zane, siblings, Robert (Kathy) Burkett of Tennessee, Diana (Dave) Hallam of Streator, Scott and Jody Burkett both of Streator, several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Cutie Pie.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mike attended Woodland School and was formerly employed at Streator Brick. He enjoyed boating, fishing and riding his Harley Motorcycle. Mike attended the Church of the Open Bible.
Memorials may be made to his family.
