Michael Byerly Obituary
A dedicated sports enthusiast, Michael's love for football, especially the Cleveland Browns, was matched only by his joy in playing golf, tending to his garden, and caring for a variety of special pets throughout his life. These activities brought him immense pleasure and peace, reflecting his nurturing personality and love for nature.
Michael cherished time spent with his family, particularly his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He is survived by his daughter, Michaela Byerly and her husband Marius Nelson; his son, Adam Byerly; grandchildren, Elijah Williams and Annalysse Nelson; brothers, David Byerly and his wife Brenda, and Douglas Byerly of Florida. His nieces and nephews, Brian, Renee, Heather, Amanda Byerly, Mark, and Chris Huff, also hold fond memories of him. A special friend, Connie, shared many significant moments with him. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Lillian Byerly.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Washington County Johnson City Animal Shelter in memory of Michael, honoring his compassionate spirit. His life serves as a reminder of the importance of passion, family, and the simple joys of living.
