Michael R. Byrnes Sr., 65, passed away on Friday October 10, 2025 in Vero Beach, Florida surrounded by his family. He was born in Buffalo, New York on January 29, 1960, the son of the late Thomas J Byrnes II and Myra Byrnes.

He is survived by his loving children: Michael R. Byrnes Jr. (Tiffany), Christopher D. Wagner, Timothy R. Byrnes (Maegan), and Ireland B. Wheatley (Austin), as well as five beloved grandchildren who brought him great joy.

A true sports enthusiast, Michael was a devoted fan of the Buffalo Bills, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the New York Yankees. But most of all he loved watching all these sports with his children. Michael spent many days playing golf with family, friends and colleagues.

For over 30 years he worked as a service manager. Michael loved his jobs and always took special care of his employees. Michael's life was a testament to his motto: work hard / clean living. His legacy will continue through all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Michael had a deep appreciation for life and family, always finding ways to bring everyone together and make lasting memories. He brought smiles to those who needed them most and offered understanding even when it was hard to accept. His stories, humor, and warmth filled every room with laughter and love.

Michael is also survived by his many siblings; Peggy Byrnes, Thomas J Byrnes III (Lynn), Elizabeth Brown (Gregory), Maureen TenEyck (Mark), Colleen Byrnes, Judi Byrnes and Grady Byrnes (Christine).

A celebration of Michael's life will take place later, honoring his memory and the love he shared with all who knew him.
