Obituary of Michael F. Calcagni, Sr.
Michael F. Calcagni, Sr., age 74, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024.
He was born on January 22, 1950, the son of the late Petro and Maryann V. (Dougherty) Calcagni.
Born and raised in Conshohocken, Michael later moved to Norristown where he lived most of his life. He worked as a Laborer until his retirement. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He was the husband of the late Donna Calcagni.
He is survived by his son, Michael Calcagni, Jr. and daughter, Dana Calcagni (Gregorio Cardenas); sister, Carol Calcagni; and three brothers, Richard Calcagni, Thomas Calcagni, Daniel Calcagni (Ruthann). He is also survived by five grandchildren, Kimberly Cardenas, Gabriella Cardenas, Gregorio Cardenas III, Ashley Calcagni and Michael Calcagni III; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Calcagni; and two brothers, Timothy Calcagni and Petro Calcagni, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM in Gulph Christian Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
