Michael Capps, Sr. Obituary
Mr. Michael Allen Capps, Sr., age 38, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Mr. Capps was born in Savannah on December 13, 1985. He worked in the construction industry and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by one maternal grandmother, Jewel Thompson; two maternal aunts, Judy Razook and Charlene Thrasher and one uncle Carles Capps.
Survivors include his two sons; Michael Allen Capps, Jr. of Pembroke and Devyn Walker of Ellabell; daughter, Lacie Williams of Savannah; mother, Darlene Tonya Capps of Pembroke; father, Rush Cox of North Carolina; six siblings, Nicole Bradford and her husband Mitchell of Bloomingdale, Stephanie Brazell of Pembroke, Hollie Cox, Lillian Moore both of West Virginia, Heather Hunsperger and Joseph Hunsperger both from Ohio; mother of his children, Jamie Williams of Savannah and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor Lawrence Butler officiating.
Flanders Powell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Michael Allen Capps, Sr.
