Michael Lee Caput

Michael Lee Caput (Mike), age 69, of Pace, Florida, passed away on January 1, 2026. He was born on December 24, 1956, to Lee Luis Caput and Dorothy E. Massingill Caput.
Mike worked as an aircraft mechanic for many years, with his final position at NAS Whiting Field in Milton, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Irma Massingill; his mother, Dorothy E. Massingill Caput Sherrer; his father-in-law, Earl Pinckard; and his brother-in-law, Flynn Russell Pinckard.
Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Tammy Pinckard Caput; his sons, Shaun (Tricia) Caput, Jonathan (Erin) Pinckard, Jason (Amanda) Pinckard, and Brandon Caput; and his brother, Bill (Linda) Caput. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Ellie and Thomas Caput, Justin, Brayden, and Ryder Pinckard and Rowan Pinckard, as well as his beloved fur baby, Dandy, and very special family friends, John and Cindy Sears.
When able, Mike greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing.
