Billy Morgan Kimbrough, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a Beloved Husband to his wife Paula, of 67 years and was the heart and soul of his family. Billy was a dedicated father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. He made friends everywhere he went and loved to take them to his secret freshwater fishing hole or to his favorite hunting spot. As an avid sports fan, he was known for attending many different games in a week. He enjoyed coaching and watching his grandkids participating in extracurricular activities. He retired from Monsanto with 37 years of service. After retiring from Monsanto, he enjoyed working with his family at Sunshine Promo USA Inc. He was a member of the Chumuckla Community Church where he enjoyed leading the choir and the congregation in songs while singing with his wife who played the piano.
Billy was a lifelong resident of Chumuckla and was the first born of seven children to the late Morrison and Eva Kimbrough.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Husted; and two brothers, Dale and John Kimbrough.
Billy is survived by his wife, Paulaouise (Paula) Kimbrough, of Pace, FL; daughters, Sonja (Paul) Young of
Milton, FL,; Charlene (Robert) Stanford of Gulf Breeze, FL; and Kimberly Kimbrough of Pensacola, FL; a son, Billy Morgan Kimbrough II of Pace, FL; grandchildren, Paul Young, Kayla Husted, Conner (Vanessa) Young, John Morgan Kimbrough, Mitchell (Sarah) Stanford, Ryan (Kayla) Stanford; and great-grandchildren, Asher Hayes, Brooks Stanford, Ellie and Ada Stanford. He is also survived by two sisters, Carole (Floyd) Griffin of Baker, FL and Bonnie Holt of
Milton, FL; two brothers, Atwood (Sandra) Kimbrough of Pace, FL and Jim (Elaine) Kimbrough of Pace, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Chumuckla Community Church, 8008 Chumuckla Hwy, Pace, FL 32571, with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and service starting at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Johnny Johnson Officiating. Interment will be at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery.
The Family wishes to thank the staff of Vitas Hospice for the care given during his time of illness.
Many thanks to all his close friends who he enjoyed throughout his life.
